The difference between a Walk-In Shower and Wet Room

Walk in showers use a low profile shower tray typically 25-40mm with a glass screen to contain the water. They have great access are easily looked after and give a more open, modern finish.

Wet rooms have a floor former shower tray that is built into the floor and tiled over to give a level seamless finish . They usually have a screen to deflect the water from the shower, but in a smaller bathroom the whole floor can get wet. They can be made to work with the most awkward spaces and create an open and clean look to the room.

Home Design Visit

We come out, measure up and discuss what you’d like to do. We look at layout options so you get a clear idea of what’s possible and an idea of cost.

Step 3

Showroom Appointment

Make an appointment at our Glengormley showroom to go over the plan properly. Products and finishes are chosen before everything is agreed.

Step 4

Book an Installation Date

Once everything is agreed, a deposit confirms the project and secures your fitting date. We can then order the products and schedule the fitters.

Step 5

Installation

Our fitters carry out the full installation from start to finish. We deliver the products, complete the bathroom and remove all waste, leaving it ready to use.
